A small reputable NFP organisation supporting and making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities through Community Supports, Supported Independent Living, and Support Coordination services across greater Sydney.
The focus of the position is to support, assist and prepare for accreditation audits by the quality and safeguarding commission.
Reporting to the Executive Manager of Support, The Quality and Safeguarding Consultant will provide their expert knowledge and specialist experience to shape Practice frameworks, quality and safeguarding policies, protocol, and reporting. In addition, the position will add value in areas such as Risk Management and embedding a Continuous Improvement culture.
This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact across a range of NDIS services: Core Supports, SIL, and Support Coordination.
As an experienced Quality and Safeguarding leader, you will have previous experience developing and implementing effective policies and procedures to ensure an organisation's service delivery is aligned to best practice standards. In addition, you will have;
- A deep understanding of the responsibilities and requirements of a registered service provider under the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework;
- A demonstrated track record of developing and implementing policies and procedures within the NDIS sector in areas such as Quality, Compliance, Incident Reporting, Audits, and Complaints
- An ability to maintain accurate, professionally appropriate, and current records and written reports;
- Strong knowledge of restrictive practices, mandatory reporting and complaints management.
Previous experience working within Community Supports or Supported Independent Living services would be highly regarded, as is Aged Care experience.
