The Opportunity
Due to the bespoke nature of our clients business, and the pace of growth and acquisition, the finance team need to be innovative in driving business value creation, finding solutions to support the business and being the trusted 'source of truth' for reporting of financial results and performance while maintaining reliable financial controls and risk management.
The Role
This role has been created due to the need to integrate, to consolidate and to drive consistently all aspects of financial management across the business. The newly created role provides support to the CFO and business owners as the 2IC within finance, and is responsible for all aspects of the Finance operations across the group (financial reporting, mgmt. & board reporting, statutory reporting, tax/financial compliance, treasury and insurances).
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- 10 years + PQE
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in guiding remotely a network of finance teams
- High attention to detail
- High level of commercial accumen / experience dealing with senior stakeholders
- Recent experience managing tax matters in a mid size organisation with high complexity
- Experience managing a debt facility and extensive cash flow modelling experience gained in a complex multi division environment
- Bachelor of Commerce and CA qualified
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
- Experience working for a Private Equity owned organisation a distinct advantage
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
