About the Organisation:

We are currently working for a leading multi-site health services business who are a pioneer within their sector and boast a portfolio of market leadership. Within their sector they are recognised for their quality of service, innovation and high-performance results. With a large workorce consisting of various EBA's, this organisation is one of the largest in their sector with exceptional corporate infrastructure in place.

Due to an internal restructure, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their finance and payroll team.

About the Role:

Working in a large organisation, this person will report directly to the Payroll Manager and play an integral role within the payroll team. As the Payroll Officer you will be responsible for contributing to the efficient performance of the Payroll Department, ensuring the effective and accurate delivery of remuneration and related benefits to all staff.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Analysing relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements and determining pay differentials for shift work, overtime, leave and other provisions, as required
  • Providing general administration support for the Payroll Department
  • Analysing relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements and determining pay differentials for shift work, overtime, leave and other provisions, as required
  • Monitor online Payroll Query system and resolve queries in a timely manner
  • Any other payroll duties as required.

About You

In order to be successful, you will be proactive, results focused and have strong attention to detail. Due the complex nature and scale of this workforce, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience working with various complex EAs and EBAs
  • Experience working with a large workforce (ideally with 1,000+ employees)
  • Be an experienced user of Payroll and Time and Attendance software solutions - Chris 21 and Kronos preferred
