The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) is a government funded health organisation that extending from Port Macquarie in the south to Coffs Harbour in the north. It has a workforce of more than 4,500 across seven hospital sites and 10 Community Health Centres, and a budget exceeding $680 million.
About the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager with a strong analytical background and demonstrated experience influencing key stakeholders, to lead a critical change agenda focusing on optimising delivery across surgical services.
Reporting to the Director Financial Operations & Asset Management, the Project Manager, District Surgical Services will be primarily responsible for providing support for the efficient, cost effective and timely delivery of surgical services, while maintaining the highest quality of patient care. They will have a direct impact on organisational performance across the District.
A project leader, you will demonstrate strong analytical capability and be comfortable using data to inform the decision-making process.
In addition to the essential criteria, you will also demonstrate:
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to drive organisational change.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with a proven ability to use evidence to influence and provide recommendations.
- Experience in data analysis and the ability to use data to solve problems, optimise processes and find operating efficiencies.
Experience within health setting and an understanding of surgical services and waitlists would be highly regarded.
