About the Opportunity
The Dementia Centre was founded by HammondCare in 1995 as an impartial resource and provider of research and expertise to the aged and dementia care community - in Australia and internationally.
This is key to HammondCare's commitment to excellence in dementia care. The Dementia Centre exists to enhance the quality of life for people living with dementia through services and solutions that are proven in practice. HammondCare is dedicated to defining and informing the provision of care for people of all ages with dementia and their families. HammondCare offers expert advice to people at all levels of the organisation, from CEOs and medical professionals through to clinicians, support staff and family carers in the home.
Reporting to the Director of The Dementia Centre, this position will be responsible for:
- National business development in consultancy and education
- Leading the commercialization of Hammond College RTO
- Collaborating with Hammond College on the delivery of contracts and products
- Lead HammondCare's publication business, driven by our thought leadership motivation.
- Communications management, inclusive of online platforms, publishing, products, internal teams and stakeholders.
- Events management including our HammondCare International Dementia Conference
For this appointment we are looking for an individual who has flexibility in thinking, problem solving, initiative and innovation in delivery and exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement. This individual will lead and advance the delivery of fee for service education, consultancy and publications aligned to HammondCare's key differentiators.
The Head of Enterprise & Consulting will bring substantial commercial leadership and comparable functional experience gained in a healthcare driven environment. They will have an objective of advancing the Dementia Centre services whilst maintaining the client as the primary focus.
