The opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Assistant Park Manager to support the Park Manager with the daily operations of a vibrant residential park in Emerald, QLD. This is a well-presented park with a mix of cabins, motel rooms, powered and unpowered caravan sites. Reporting to the Park Manager, you will focus on:
- Provide support to the Park Manager, including stepping in during absences (e.g., handling calls)
- Focus on reception and guest services; no formal reporting responsibilities
- No financial management duties required
- Experience with RMS booking system is desirable
- Training available for candidates with limited experience
You’re an organised and customer-focused professional who enjoys creating welcoming experiences for guests. Ideally, you have experience in hospitality, tourism, or property management, but we’re open to training the right person with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You bring:
- Excellent communication and people skills, with a friendly and professional approach
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Confidence to step in and manage day-to-day tasks when needed
- A proactive mindset and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
