Since 1937, The Y NSW has empowered generations of children, young people and families through programs that build confidence, connection and belonging. Located on the Grose River in the Hawkesbury Valley, Camp Yarramundi has long been a trusted destination for outdoor education and community programs.
Funded through the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants program, Camp Yarramundi is entering a new era. A multi-million redevelopment will transform it into one of Australia’s largest and most inclusive outdoor education centres. Opening in August 2027, the reimagined camp will feature architect-designed accommodation, purpose-built adventure and learning facilities, and a curriculum-aligned education model that reflects the Y’s vision for all young people to live inspired lives.
