The opportunity
Reporting directly to an Area Manager, the Centre Director will::
- Provide hands-on leadership to inspire, mentor, and develop an experienced educator team
- Engage with families and strengthen community relationships to ensure a positive experience
- Nurture a collaborative culture while leading the team through change and transformation
- Lead operational performance including staffing, compliance, and commercial outcomes
- Drive quality and continuous improvement with support from organisational specialists
You are an experienced leader who is confident managing both people and change. You will bring the ability to guide a long-standing team, engage effectively with families, and ensure the centre continues to thrive within a competitive local market.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and significant leadership experience
- Experience managing or directing an early learning service of comparable size
- Proven ability to engage, motivate, and lead established educator teams
- Strong operational and compliance expertise, with commercial acumen to support occupancy growth
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with families and staff
- A values-driven leadership style with resilience and adaptability
