The Opportunity
The Chief Client Services Officer (CCSO) is a pivotal Executive Leadership Team role responsible for the strategic, financial and operational leadership of CPA’s Therapy and Disability Services portfolio, including Supported Independent Living (SIL). Leading a workforce of approximately 2,000 employees and overseeing a significant and operationally complex portfolio, the CCSO holds full P&L accountability with a ~$200m revenue forecast and executive ownership of service quality, client safety and regulatory compliance. The CCSO will be required to ensure services are safe, high quality, person-centred and financially sustainable into the future.
This role requires a seasoned executive who can operate confidently at both enterprise and operational levels, shaping whole-of-organisation strategy while ensuring disciplined execution across large, geographically dispersed services, predominantly across NSW and ACT. The portfolio operates within a dynamic and regulated environment, requiring responsiveness to NDIS reform, pricing shifts, workforce pressures and evolving service models. Aligned to CPA’s 2030 strategy, growth in Youth Services and capacity building (Education) are priority areas, with experience in these areas viewed as highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, as Chief Client Services Officer you will:
- Lead and execute the Client Services strategy aligned to CPA’s purpose, values and 2030 strategic plan
- Provide executive oversight of operations to ensure safe, quality, person-centred, outcomes focused services
- Act as executive owner of client safety, service continuity and regulatory risk across the portfolio
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory and quality frameworks
- Hold full P&L accountability, leading budgeting, forecasting, pricing and commercial decision-making
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity and continuous improvement using data and insights
- Anticipate and respond to continual sector reform
- Lead a high-performing, values-aligned leadership cohort
- Build strong external relationships with government, regulators and sector stakeholders
You are an experienced senior executive leader within disability, health or human services, with demonstrated success leading large, complex service portfolios at relevant scale. You bring a strong understanding of the NDIS and the disability sector operating environment with proven P&L accountability and commercial acumen across large service operations. Within this it will be imperative to showcase deep operational leadership capability in regulated environments with robust quality and safeguarding frameworks.
As the successful candidate you have highly developed people and change leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilise large, geographically dispersed teams. You bring a strategic mindset balanced with disciplined execution and strong governance to ensure clarity, structure and confidence to a complex service environment..
