  • Lead a bold, impact-driven NDIS pioneer on the brink of exciting growth and innovation.
  • Shape flexible, 24/7 care that transforms lives and empowers true independence.
  • Ignite a vibrant culture, inspire top talent, and drive Nightlife’s next-level success.
The organisation
Nightlife Disability Services is a trusted NDIS provider, started by those with lived experience looking to change the status quo of service delivery, offering flexible support. Nightlife is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to people with disabilities, with true choice for individuals. With a strong community presence and a reputation for compassionate care, Nightlife supports individuals to live independently, participate in the community, and achieve their goals. As a values-driven not-for-profit, Nightlife works closely with participants, families, and stakeholders to continuously improve services, while ensuring operational sustainability and alignment with the evolving needs of the NDIS and the broader disability sector. Currently as a profitable organisation, with a strong balance sheet, this is a pivotal time for the CEO to create a lasting impact on both Nightlife and the broader sector.

The opportunity
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a critical leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, and overall success of Nightlife. Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will lead a passionate team dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disability through high-quality supports and services. With an appetite from the Board to grow and expand, the CEO will drive this organisational growth, build on the trusted Nightlife brand, and ensure compliance with NDIS practice standards and relevant legislation. The role oversees all aspects of business operations, including service delivery, workforce development, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and financial sustainability. Central to this role is the ability to strengthen Nightlife’s identity in the community and maintain its position as a provider and employer of choice. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a purpose-led organisation, fostering innovation and collaboration to meet the evolving needs of people with disability. The CEO will lead key strategic initiatives including service expansion, community engagement, and partnerships that support research and innovation in disability services.

About you
You are a dynamic and experienced executive leader with a deep understanding of the community services and NDIS sector. In addition, there must be a knowledge of TAC and an understanding of the registration / service delivery model. You bring a strong background in operational leadership, business development, governance, and compliance with an entrepreneurial flair and strong commercial acumen. With a people-first mindset, you are committed to delivering positive outcomes for clients while building a culture of learning, inclusion, and excellence. Your leadership style is collaborative and transparent, and you are adept at navigating complexity in a regulated environment. You have the communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders, including participants, families, the community, government agencies, and your team. You bring demonstrated success in strategic planning, workforce leadership, and financial management, with a focus on quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement. A background in NDIS operations or a strong working knowledge of the disability sector will be essential, along with the ability to drive organisational transformation in line with community needs and sector reforms.
