The Opportunity
Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer leads the strategic direction, operational performance, culture and engagement of The Bridge Inc. The CEO is responsible for delivering the Board’s vision, strengthening organisational capability and ensuring services remain high quality, safe, relevant and client focused. A critical part of the role is fostering a positive, resilient culture built on psychological safety, employee wellbeing, compassionate directness and clarity of purpose. The CEO will oversee the evolution of structures, systems and service models to ensure programs remain contemporary, engaging and aligned to client needs as the organisation grows, monitoring quality and safeguarding and with an unwavering focus on client and participant experience and outcomes.

The CEO also plays a visible role across the disability and employment sectors, advocating for clients, shaping strategic partnerships, engaging funders and responding to emerging trends. Working closely with the Board, the CEO will support strong governance by providing transparent reporting, effective risk management and timely advice that enables considered decision making. The role leads the financial performance of the organisation and presents robust business cases that balance opportunity and risk. After successfully achieving growth through a recent merger, the CEO will drive future opportunities for growth, collaboration or service adaptation and influence policy and sector reform to support The Bridge’s mission.
