The opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Early Learning Operations Manager will:
- Lead, coach, and develop Centre Directors across a portfolio of around 10 centres in Sydney.
- Oversee operational performance, including occupancy, family experience, safety, and compliance.
- Deliver commercial outcomes by optimising revenue, managing costs, and achieving financial targets.
- Act as a conduit between centre teams and central support functions, ensuring smooth implementation of strategy, projects, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with peers across the leadership team to share insights and drive strategic goals.
- Build strong networks of Centre Directors, fostering collegiality and the sharing of best practice.
You’re an experienced operational leader with a track record of success in multi-site or area management in early childhood education. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Proven experience leading large teams and driving performance across multiple sites.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand and influence P&L performance.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and early learning compliance standards.
- The ability to coach, mentor and uplift leaders, tailoring your approach to different individuals and contexts.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with a collaborative and supportive style.
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across your region.
