The Executive Dean will play a pivotal role in spearheading innovation, driving research excellence, and positioning Macquarie as a global leader in science and engineering. As a champion of collaboration, you will inspire an engaged academic community to deliver meaningful research and transformative learning experiences while fostering partnerships with industry, government, and international leaders to address local and global challenges.
About the Role
- Provide visionary, strategic leadership to unite and inspire a world-class Faculty of Science and Engineering team.
- Foster interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaborations to enhance research impact and relevance.
- Drive improvements in research performance and funding opportunities across key priority areas.
- Lead initiatives to enrich learning and teaching quality, ensuring graduates are equipped to thrive in a dynamic global economy.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with industry, government, and other institutions.
- Work collaboratively within the University’s Executive Group to implement University-wide strategies and goals.
