The North Division of Anglicare Victoria represents services across northern metropolitan Melbourne, and across central and north Victoria. The Anglicare Victoria North Division provides leading services in out of home care, family welfare, family violence, financial counselling, youth services, youth homeless services and community support. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director – North Division will play a pivotal role as part of the Executive Leadership Team, leading the delivery of all operations across the Northern Division, ensuring the provision of high-quality, sustainable, client-focused services.   The Division has an operating revenue of over $80 million and 600 employees.

The Executive Director will ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable services and strengthen relationships with government, sector partners, and community stakeholders. This role will also lead workforce capability, drive continuous improvement, and champion service innovation to meet emerging community needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the delivery of integrated, evidence-based services that achieve impactful outcomes.
  • Embed continuous improvement, best practice and safeguarding measures across all programs.
  • Lead workforce capability, fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture.
  • Drive transformation and innovation to deliver new service models and approaches.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships to support growth and influence policy.
 
About you
You are an accomplished executive leader with significant experience in the human services, government or not-for-profit sector. With a proven track record of delivering operational excellence, you bring a deep understanding of government-funded service environments and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.

You will demonstrate:
  • Strategic and operational leadership across large, complex service portfolios.
  • Strong financial and business management capability.
  • Experience building effective partnerships with government, community and sector partners.
  • A collaborative leadership style that motivates diverse teams and drives service excellence.
