The opportunity
UPA is seeking a compassionate and driven Facility Manager to lead UPA’s 74-bed Bracken House Residential Aged Care facility in Dubbo. In this senior leadership position, you’ll ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care while guiding and supporting your team.
In this role you will:
- Lead daily operations including oversight of high quality care
- Provide strong clinical oversight as a Registered Nurse inline with UPA's Clinical Governance Framework and in line with Aged Care Strengthened Standards
- Foster a positive culture of workforce and consumer engagement, growth and continuous improvement
- Oversee financial, risk and workforce performance to keep the facility thriving
About you
We’re looking for a values-driven Facility Manager who can balance clinical oversight with strong operational leadership. You’ll be a hands-on leader – visible on the floor, approachable yet firm – who inspires cultural change with authenticity and care.
You’ll bring:
- Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
- Leadership experience in residential aged care
- Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in documentation oversight
- A collaborative, people-first approach with residents and their families and representatives, employees, contractors, and volunteers.
- Proven ability to drive improvement, manage change, risk and ensure compliance
- Sound decision-making skills with an eye on both care outcomes and sustaina bility
