The opportunity
Reporting to the CEO and leading a a small team, the Financial Controller will:
- Own all finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll, and compliance.
- Provide clear, actionable insights to guide the Executive Team and Board in strategic decision-making.
- Analyse performance and costs to uncover opportunities, manage risks, and drive results.
- Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing team while enhancing systems, processes, and governance.
About you
You are a hands-on finance leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a balanced mix of technical strength and relationship skills. You simplify complex information, support confident decision making, and build trust with stakeholders. You are resilient, pragmatic, and solutions focused, with a genuine interest in developing people and improving how the business operates.
- CA or CPA qualified, with 5+ years in senior finance roles
- Ideally you bring experience from a professional services or audit.
- Strong commercial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Skilled in Excel and finance systems, with the ability to turn data into practical insights.
- Experienced leader who can inspire, coach, and develop a capable team.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to partner across the business and drive results.
