The Opportunity

New Horizons is seeking a General Manager, Product, Growth & Partnerships to drive the organisation’s future-focused service and product strategy. This role will leverage best practices, industry reforms, and strategic insights to enhance services across Aged Care, Mental Health, NDIS, Homelessness, Disability, and First Nations communities.
 
Leading a team of professionals in product management, tender and grant processes, and commercial pricing, the General Manager of Product, Growth, and Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving growth, service excellence, and long-term sustainability. Additionally, this role will strengthen New Horizons’ product portfolio to meet customer needs, align with contractual expectations, and ensure financial viability.
 
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager of Product, Growth, and Partnerships will;

  • Lead and manage end-to-end processes for EOIs, RFPs, and RFTs, ensuring successful funding applications and business expansion.
  • Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities through government and industry partnerships.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, peak bodies, and government agencies to extend New Horizons’ reach.
  • Oversee customer, product, and market research, embedding customer insights into service and product development.
 
About You

As the successful candidate for this role, you will bring;  
  • A degree in Commerce, Economics, Business Management, or a related field in addition to 10+ years’ experience in product and business development within human services or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive sustainable business growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing strategies and contract management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
