The Smith Family is now seeking an experienced and values driven senior leader for the role of Group Manager, Learning for Life Operations & Delivery to lead the national delivery of The Smith Family’s flagship Learning for Life program, as well as OnPar and Girls at the Centre.
The opportunity
As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team and a senior partner to the Head of State and Territory Operations, the Group Manager leads the national delivery of The Smith Family’s flagship Learning for Life program suite.
This newly created role is responsible for leading a geographically distributed team through Regional Program Managers, the position plays a critical role in ensuring consistent, high-quality program delivery and operational performance across Australia.
In this role you will:
- Lead and develop a national leadership network, guiding Regional Program Managers and their teams across a geographically distributed operations workforce of approximately 300 staff
- Drive operational performance and continuous improvement – strengthen systems, processes and data-informed practice to improve program accountability, delivery and impact
- Contribute to strategic operational leadership – support organisational strategy, planning, risk management and operational excellence across the national program portfolio

You are an experienced and values driven leader with a strong track record delivering complex programs or services at scale. You combine strategic thinking with strong operational leadership and are motivated by the opportunity to improve outcomes for children, families and communities.
