The opportunity
This is a pivotal finance leadership role at the centre of a sophisticated, capital-intensive business, where financial insight directly informs shareholder decisions, capital strategy and long-term performance. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Finance leads a lean, high-performing finance function and is accountable for financial reporting, corporate modelling and treasury oversight.
A central component of the role is ownership and ongoing development of the corporate financial model, which underpins valuations, capital management decisions and long-term planning. You will support treasury activity across a complex capital structure, including a significant debt and hedging portfolio, and play a key role in refinancing and capital management initiatives. The role oversees month-end, statutory and regulatory reporting, audit processes, accounting standards interpretation and tax compliance, operating within a governance framework aligned to a listed environment.
You will engage regularly with shareholder analysts, lenders, Board and executive stakeholders, providing financial insights, scenario analysis and decision support. The role leads the annual budgeting process and long-term planning, and acts as a key financial advisor across the business. You will drive accountability, improve processes and uplift capability, with a focus on moving the function beyond reporting to more insight-led financial support.
About you
You are a technically strong finance leader with experience operating in complex, capital-intensive environments. You bring deep financial modelling capability and are comfortable building, interpreting and communicating complex models to senior stakeholders. You may have developed your experience within the accounting profession, infrastructure, funds management, property or a similarly structured environment, with a technically rigorous finance background with exposure to modelling, transactions or capital management. You bring strong technical training alongside an understanding of how finance functions operate in practice.
You understand financial markets, debt structures and treasury operations, and have experience leading financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes. You are comfortable operating in a lean, hands-on environment, balancing technical delivery with leadership responsibility. You engage confidently with executives, Board members, investors and lenders, and translate complex financial information into clear, practical insights. Importantly, you bring a customer-centric and service-oriented approach, recognising the role finance plays in supporting the business. You are responsive, solutions-focused and committed to delivering high-quality outputs that meet stakeholder needs in a timely and effective manner.
Your leadership style drives accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement, and you are motivated by contributing to a function that plays a critical role in organisational performance and decision-making.
A professional accounting qualification is required.
