The opportunity
This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and provides leadership to a national team of senior leaders. You will guide multi-site operations, driving excellence and consistency across the network and support Area and Service leaders to deliver outstanding early childhood education.

This role offers the chance to combine high-level strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, fostering a high-performing, accountable culture while maintaining an unwavering focus on child safety, quality outcomes and positive impacts for children, families and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to Area and Service leaders, characterised by clarity, accountability and transparency across the national network of centres.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through mentoring, development and coaching while maintaining commitment to child safeguarding and quality outcomes for children, families and communities.
  • Champion child safety and wellbeing while ensuring compliance with legislation, the National Quality Framework and sector standards.
  • Strengthen community partnerships and family engagement to improve outcomes for children.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to deliver strategic goals and drive high-quality, high-performing services.
 
About you
Key skills, essential criteria and desirables.
  • Senior leader with multi-site management experience in early learning, education or a similar, highly regulated, values-based environment.
  • Strategic, commercially minded and confident managing large teams and budgets.
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards.
  • Excellent communicator who inspires high performance and collaboration.
