The opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned and collaborative Village Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Eureka’s vibrant independent living community in Horsham, Victoria. This key role focuses on cultivating strong relationships with residents and the broader Horsham community, driving engagement, and upholding the highest standards of village life.
 
As Village Manager, you will ensure smooth operations and an exceptional resident experience. Your responsibilities will span property management, occupancy optimisation, staff leadership, and compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements. You’ll play a central role in fostering a welcoming, active, and well-maintained village environment where residents feel supported and connected.

Reporting to a highly experienced Regional Manager, the Village Manager will lead a small team consisting of Head Chef and an administrator and will be responsible for:

  • Property Management
        Managing leases, inspections, tenant communications, and records. Coordinating maintenance and ensuring properties meet organisational standards.
  • Village Support and Community Engagement
Managing regular engagement activities to foster a vibrant community, overseeing events that enhance resident satisfaction, and serving as the main point of contact to ensure resident needs are promptly addressed.
  • Business Performance and Financial Accountability
Managing occupancy and revenue growth through leasing strategies and retention initiatives, overseeing budgets and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing financial insights to support transparency and performance alignment.
  • Leadership and Team Collaboration
Managing and mentoring the village team to deliver high performance and exceptional service, implementing training programs to build capability, collaborating across departments, and ensuring clear communication to support a positive environment for staff and residents.
 
About you
The successful candidate is a commercially astute business manager with a growth and solution-focussed mindset and a background in real estate, hospitality management, and/ or aged care.
Presenting with a proven track record in driving positive customer, operational, and financial results, the Village Manager applies their personable and adaptable approach to cultivating enduring stakeholder relationships, promoting the Eureka brand with all interactions.
The Village Manager will demonstrate strong expertise in property management, with the ability to identify and capitalise on sustainable financial opportunities, whilst fostering a sense of harmony of belonging for team and residents alike through their leadership and operational capabilities.
