The opportunity
Reporting to the COO and operating as a senior member of the leadership team, the Human Resources Manager plays a critical role in ensuring robust, compliant and effective HR and WHS practices across the organisation.
This is a hands-on, standalone HR role with a strong operational focus. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle, providing trusted advice on employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment and safety legislation.
In this role, you will:
• Deliver end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, contracts, onboarding and offboarding
• Act as the first point of contact for HR and employee relations matters, providing practical, compliant advice
• Ensure compliance with Fair Work, NES and SCHADS Award obligations, interpreting and applying changes
• Lead WHS systems, policies and workers’ compensation matters to maintain a safe workplace
About you
You are a confident, trusted HR professional who enjoys operating autonomously in a purpose-driven environment.
You will bring:
• Demonstrated experience across generalist HR, with strong capability in compliance, ER and WHS
• Sound working knowledge of Fair Work legislation, NES and the SCHADS Award
• Confidence advising leaders and managing sensitive employee matters
• High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
• Alignment with, or strong interest in, women’s health, gender equity and social justice
