Claro Disability Services is a nationally operating disability services provider with approximately 1,400 employees across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA. This is an impactful P&C leadership role for an operator who gets things done, someone who can stabilise, structure and scale HR operations in a complex, distributed, 24/7 environment.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role leads the HR operations and Business Partnering function nationally. You will significantly contribute to and shape the employee lifecycle across the organisation, drive ER/IR outcomes with commercial judgement, and lift the capability and accountability of the team with strong aspirations to deliver future-focused HR. You will be systems-confident, comfortable with HR technology and process automation, and able to drive adoption across a distributed workforce. This is a role for a high-output leader who understands that execution is the strategy.
What you will own:
- National HR operations: significantly contributing to the employee lifecycle, HR case management and core people processes
- ER/IR advisory and case management with commercial judgement, risk awareness and a focus on outcomes
- Stakeholder partnering: delivering at pace for diverse stakeholders across the business in a complex, strictly regulated environment
- Team leadership: building capability, accountability and performance in the HR Ops and BP team
- Operational efficiency: process improvement, automation and service delivery standards
- HR technology: driving systems confidence and digital uplift across the function
- Accountability to the leaders and employees we work with: HR are consistent and enable quality service delivery to our employees and indirectly people with a disability we support
- Execution-focused: you close things out, move at pace and deliver high-quality, timely outcomes
- Proven senior HR operations leader, you have run teams, not just supported them
- Strong ER/IR capability with the judgement to navigate complex situations and land the right outcome
- Track record of building and lifting HR team performance
- Systems-confident and comfortable with HR technology, AI and digital ways of working
- Comfortable in ambiguity and organisational complexity, you don’t wait for perfect conditions
- Experience in 24/7, regulated or service-based sectors is advantageous
This role can be based in New South Wales, Victoria or South Australia, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements available. Interstate travel may be required from time to time.
