The Opportunity
Reporting to the people-centric General Manager, The Operations Manager will demonstrate purpose-driven leadership to enhance the performance, development, joy, and agility of the Homewell team, concepting and executing clinical and complex service offering strategies to achieve best outcomes for the Homewell community and further strengthen positive impact and industry reputation as a trusted partner.
Building on a strong foundation and working collaboratively to drive delivery of exceptional client and team outcomes, satisfaction, and growth across all service delivery streams, the Operations Manager’s key focus is to support and enable a team of subject matter experts, ensuring Homewell clients live at home longer, meet their goals, and achieve their dreams.
The key areas of responsibility for the role include:
- Continuous improvement of client and employee experience through internal collaboration, ensuring service excellence and innovation is practised and all relevant quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Acting as an authentic and inspirational growth leader to a high-performing, outcome-focused team, fostering a high-engagement, values-led culture of performance and accountability, removing barriers
- Enables scale of clients benefiting from Homewell’s support and engaging with external stakeholders to increase and improve Homewell’s connection with the community.
- Contribute to workforce planning and strategic initiatives to support the attraction, engagement, and retention of staff, with a focus on providing a great employee experience from onboarding to offboarding.
- Lead and manage the commercial aspects of the business to achieve exceptional financial performance.
- Provide a safe and supportive work environment, collaborating with the Quality team to address any gaps or identified improvements, promoting learning implementation from complaints and feedback, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
Homewell is seeking a leader with experience in the provision of community care services (NDIS or Aged Care), or health and human services, and knowledge and understanding of the relevant governing bodies. The successful profile presents with an innate understanding of how to build rapport of a diverse and remote workforce and enhance team engagement and performance through empowerment and developing a culture of recognition, inclusivity, and accountability.
The Operations Manager is commercially astute with a growth mindset and background in identifying opportunity and business growth, with a focus on retention, wellbeing, and utilisation. Protective of service quality excellence, the Operations Manager has a track record of mitigating risk, is solutions-focussed, and works collaboratively, cultivating enduring internal and external stakeholder relationships.
