About the Opportunity
As Recruitment Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with the Operations Director, playing a pivotal role in supporting our internal recruitment and operational delivery. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys project work and is comfortable working independently. You’ll have the opportunity to shape processes, support innovation and work closely with leadership on business-critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver projects such as onboarding plans, CX programs and training initiatives.
- Support vendor management and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Dive new system implementations and process improvements across the team.
- Provide oversight of work-in-progress, triage operational issues and ensure smooth workflows.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and enhanced candidate/ client experience.
- Assist with creative aspects of presentations and reporting, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Oversee and manage internal recruitment across the Orchard business.

About You
We’re looking for a high-energy, solutions-focused individual who is comfortable operating in the ‘grey’ and can jump into different projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have:
- A clear passion for the sector’s Orchard supports – Care Economy, Education and Government.
- Previous experience in recruitment operations, internal recruitment or a talent function/ team.
- Ability to lead projects from concept to delivery, including onboarding, training and CX programs.
- Experience supporting vendor management and implementing new systems.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to triage and manage multiple priorities.
- Creative flair to assist with presentations and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
