The Opportunity

UPA is seeking a compassionate and passionate Roving Facility Manager who will model UPAs values, have an eye for quality service delivery but also cares about consumer experience.  You could be placed at any one of our 17 Residential Aged Facilities across NSW.   The role is offering variety, challenge, and the opportunity to contribute to both frontline care and consumer and their families outcomes but to also be an active member of the UPA leadership community.

About You
You are a senior aged-care leader with strong clinical and operational experience. You are/have:

  • A Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration, and proven track record in roles such as Facility Manager, Clinical Care Manager, Regional Manager or similar.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams, motivating staff, and fostering a positive culture.
  • Demonstrated capability in all major facets of facility leadership, including:
    • financial management (budgeting, cost control, resource allocation)
    • regulatory compliance & accreditation under relevant aged care quality standards
    • clinical governance, risk management, incident and hazard management
    • continuous improvement, quality assurance and reporting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills (residents, families, staff, external partners).
  • The ability to travel and flexibly manage multiple sites, stepping in where needed, and adaptively prioritise work across locations.
  • Strong business acumen and organisational skills, with the ability to plan, monitor, and deliver outcomes in a changing environment.
