St Luke’s Care is a non-profit organisation based in Potts’ Point Sydney. This is Australia’s first holistic campus for ageing Australians. Committed to doing aged ‘differently’ through innovative, first-of-its-kind models and programs, services include residential home care, help at home, hospital and clinic, preventative healthcare and dementia support. St Luke’s Care residential home offering is a single site 154 bed facility offering both temporary and permanent services on site.

The opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Controller, as the Revenue Accountant you will be responsible for:
- The revenue accounting for the entire aged care business;
- All resident billing and reconciliations across all aged funding sources;
- Monitoring, analysis and collection of all accounts receivable including outstanding payments;
- Liaising with key stakeholders including families and clinical staff regarding all aged care revenue matters; and
- Supporting the transition to the new billing system, EPICOR, while ensuring accuracy across both the new and old accounting systems.
For this appointment, you will be an accountant with the following skills:
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role within an aged care environment;
- Excellent technical accounting skills;
- Strong analytical skills and attention at detail ensuring accuracy of reporting;
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Ability to work autonomously and be a team player;
- A commitment to service excellence with a positive, resilient demeanour.
