Overview
Drive operational priorities and deliver hands-on support to the executive team across the Safety, People and Culture portfolio for impactful NFP organisation.

The organisation
Infinity Community Solutions Ltd (ICS) is a boutique, secular, social purpose organisation dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Operating across Queensland and South Australia, ICS delivers professional, evidence-informed services across Out of Home Care, Early Intervention, and the NDIS. The organisation’s programs are designed to empower individuals to reach their full potential and lead rich, fulfilling lives.

ICS is guided by ethical leadership, collaboration with government and sector partners, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and quality practice. The organisation strives to create lasting, positive change for the people and communities it serves.

The opportunity
The Safety, People & Culture Business Partner  is a pivotal role supporting leaders across all HR and WHS matters. As a sole People & Culture practitioner, you will act as the point of escalation for managers, providing performance management, proactive advice, and strategic guidance and practical action around workforce, wellbeing and organisational culture.
This role offers broad scope across the employee lifecycle and the opportunity to further shape the function. This is an excellent time to contribute meaningful, lasting impact.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide high-quality operational and action-orientated support to frontline leaders across performance, ER, Award interpretation and people practices
  • Lead safety, wellbeing and injury management matters, including workers compensation and return-to-work processes
  • Monitor people data and trends to identify risks and drive wellbeing and culture improvements
  • Own HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, records management and compliance
  • Partner with managers on workforce planning and capability uplift
  • Refine HR/WHS policies, systems and documentation, ensuring alignment with legislation

About you
You are an experienced People & Culture generalist with strong HR delivery experience and a solid understanding of WHS, safety and wellbeing. You thrive in environments where you can work autonomously, collaborate closely with leaders and build trusted relationships across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Demonstrated HR generalist or business partnering experience across the employee lifecycle, including WHS and return-to-work processes.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary HR legislation, Awards and compliance requirements, with the ability to provide clear, accurate advice.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to coach leaders and manage sensitive matters with discretion.

What’s on Offer
  • Opportunity to operationalise and evolve a developing People & Culture function
  • Broad, meaningful work across HR, WHS, culture, analytics and leadership support
  • Work with purpose in a values-driven, growing and respected community services organisation.
  • Competitive salary and additional NFP benefits
