The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced senior leader to take on a newly created position as a State Manager, focusing on individual and community supports. This position is responsible for overseeing the large-scale delivery of person-centred services, including in-home supports, allied health integration, and complex community-based programs.
Reporting directly to the executive team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the operational performance of community-based disability services
  • Ensuring service delivery aligns with NDIS requirements and regulatory standards
  • Driving financial results, workforce capability, and exceptional customer experiences
  • Promoting service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Leading and supporting managers across multiple geographic locations
This is a key leadership opportunity for a hands-on operator who is committed to enhancing service outcomes within the disability sector.

About You

You are a performance-driven leader with a strong people focus and significant experience in disability or community health services.
You will have:
  • At least 7 years’ experience in operational leadership within disability or community support environments
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS, funding models, and compliance frameworks
  • A proven record of leading and developing large, diverse teams through change
  • Strong financial, commercial, and contract management expertise
  • Advanced skills in analysis, decision-making, and project delivery
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders
  • A collaborative leadership style that prioritises culture, safety, and accountability
A tertiary qualification in Health, Community Services, Allied Health, or a related field is essential. Postgraduate qualifications in business or management are highly regarded.
