The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and forming part of a national operations leadership group, the State Manager – Supported Independent Living is accountable for the performance, quality and stability of a significant SIL portfolio across Victoria.
The role requires strong leadership presence, sound operational judgement and the ability to build consistency across services. You will:
- Lead end-to-end operational delivery across a complex, 24/7 SIL portfolio
- Develop and lead Area Managers, strengthening performance and succession
- Drive service stability, quality uplift and operational discipline
- Balance financial performance, workforce sustainability and risk
- Support the integration of new services as the portfolio expands
About You
You are a senior operational leader with direct experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and a proven ability to manage complex, large-scale service environments. You bring:
- Senior leadership experience within SIL or complex disability accommodation
- Accountability for multi-site, 24/7 operations with significant workforce scale
- Strong capability across budgets, operational risk and service performance
- A practical, visible leadership style that lifts consistency and capability
- Confidence balancing commercial outcomes with quality, compliance and safeguarding
