About the opportunity
Due to growth and internal progression within our Corporate Services practice, we are seeking an experienced recruiter to join our team, with a focus on Human Resources appointments across the care economy, education and government sectors.
In this role, you will gain unparalleled access to established client relationships and retained search processes, focused on appointing HR and People & Culture professionals across a broad range of organisations committed to community impact. Typical roles may include ‘Head of’ or ‘Senior’ People & Culture Managers, Organisational Development specialists and Workplace Relations professionals.
You will work closely with senior leaders and executive search consultants who bring extensive experience, providing mentorship and guidance while delivering high-impact recruitment solutions for organisations. These partnerships allow you to manage retained search processes end-to-end, build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and contribute to impactful appointments to support the enabling functions of our clients.
Orchard provides retained search for all permanent roles, ensuring a dedicated and thorough recruitment process tailored to each client’s needs in a consultative manner. About you
We’re looking for a high-energy, solutions-focused individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience recruiting within HR, People & Culture or Corporate Services functions
- Prior recruitment experience within an agency setting
- Proven business development experience, including winning new clients, generating new opportunities and building a sustainable pipeline of work
- Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and grow long-term client relationships
- Confidence managing retained search processes end-to-end
- Excellent written and professional communication skills
- A passion for the Human Services sector and for-purpose organisations
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
