About us
Wesley Mission is a high profile, multi-faceted Christian organisation making a real difference in the community. We work with the most disadvantaged in our community, providing over 200 services across New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) – from aged care, homeless services, child and family care, counselling, employment, training and education, through to health services.
Our vision is “A Spirit-led disciple-making movement: doing all the good we can because every life matters”.
About the portfolio
Wesley Mission has a long history of relieving homelessness and providing housing to people in need. Our Housing & Homelessness portfolio delivers safe, stable housing and homelessness support through a single, unified portfolio that strengthens our impact, advocacy and sustainability. Services include Community Housing (tenancy and property management) and Specialist Homelessness Services (crisis, transitional and medium-term accommodation and support).
About the role
We are seeking an Executive General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership of the Housing & Homelessness portfolio. You will be the internal and external face of Wesley Mission’s community housing and homelessness services – delivering high-quality services that create safety, stability and pathways to independence, managing our community housing portfolio and government funding contracts, and advocating strongly for systemic reform on housing affordability and homelessness at both Commonwealth and NSW levels.
Essential criteria
This is a Non-Award salaried position. As a Public Benevolent Institution, Wesley Mission offers generous salary packaging to increase your take-home pay.
