The organisation
Naturatech is an Australian-owned specialist manufacturer of liposomal and specialty supplements, based in Warriewood on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Operating from a TGA-licensed, GMP and HACCP-certified facility, Naturatech manufactures capsules, powders, liquids and specialty supplements for healthcare practitioners and retail brands. Its services extend from product development and formulation through to manufacturing and packing.

Naturatech operates alongside Micronutrition, its growing consumer health brand, and is entering its next stage of operational and commercial development.

The opportunity
Naturatech is seeking to appoint a General Manager to lead production and manufacturing operations while contributing to the continued growth of the broader business.

Reporting directly to the CEO and Owner, the General Manager will provide visible, practical leadership across production, people, equipment, workflow and day-to-day factory performance. An early priority will be understanding how the operation currently works, identifying opportunities for improvement and establishing greater consistency across production planning, output and accountability.

The role will work closely with production, quality, technical and broader business functions to improve manufacturing flow, equipment utilisation, labour efficiency and delivery performance. It will also help establish stronger visibility across operating costs, purchasing, inventory, margins and other commercial measures that support effective decision-making.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who is comfortable on the factory floor, willing to become involved in operational issues and able to make sound decisions without always having complete information.

Working closely with the CEO, the successful candidate will have considerable opportunity to develop their commercial and broader business leadership capability. As Naturatech continues to grow, there is potential for the role to assume increasing ownership across the broader business and its longer-term leadership.

About you
This opportunity is likely to suit an experienced Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Plant Manager, Engineering Manager or Operations Manager who is ready to step into broader leadership responsibility.

You bring strong, recent experience within a manufacturing environment and understand the practical drivers of production performance, including people, machinery, workflow, quality, capacity, waste and output. Exposure to food, pharmaceuticals, complementary medicines, cosmetics, chemicals or another regulated manufacturing environment would be highly regarded.

You are technically or engineering-minded and can quickly understand equipment, processes and operational problems. You are also comfortable with numbers and able to use information relating to labour, costs and production performance to guide decisions.

Attitude and approach will be just as important as the breadth of experience already gained. You will be ambitious, adaptable and willing to learn, with the confidence to make decisions and take ownership. You enjoy being close to the operation, can establish credibility with a culturally diverse workforce and are comfortable working within an entrepreneurial, owner-led environment.

Above all, you will bring the energy and ambition to improve the operation, grow with the business and develop into a broader organisational leader.
