The opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager, Children & Youth will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of OSHC and youth programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the portfolio across service delivery, people, quality and financial performance, strengthening consistency and sustainability across services
- Lead and develop the management team while remaining visible and connected to frontline operations
- Build strong relationships with schools, funders and community partners to retain existing services and identify opportunities for growth
- Strengthen the operational disciplines, structures and ways of working required to support service improvement and future growth
- Senior leadership experience across a sizeable, multi-site children’s or human services operation
- Strong operational and commercial capability, with experience improving service performance and leading through change
- Experience working within a highly regulated environment, with strong governance, reporting and accountability
- A proven relationship builder with experience retaining contracts, developing partnerships and supporting service growth
