With a strong commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and community connection, the organisation supports children, young people, families and older Australians through services designed to create positive social outcomes. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced interim leader to provide stability across the Children & Youth portfolio, support teams and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality services during a period of transition.

The opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, the Interim General Manager, Children & Youth will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of OSHC, youth programs.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead and support teams across the portfolio, maintaining a visible presence within services
Provide operational oversight to ensure service continuity, quality, safeguarding and compliance outcomes
Build strong relationships with schools, families, community partners and key stakeholders
Undertake a review of operations, identifying risks, opportunities and priorities to support future service delivery and growth

About you

Executive or senior leadership experience within a highly regulated environment
Experience leading multi-site or geographically dispersed teams
Strong people leadership skills with the ability to support teams through change
Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and operational performance
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across internal and external environments
Experience working within education, community services, health, disability, aged care or similar sectors will be highly regarded
