The Commission is also a trusted advisor to the Energy and Climate Change Ministerial Council, providing strategic guidance on energy issues.
The opportunity
Reporting to the General Counsel, the Team Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring the Legal and Governance team runs smoothly. This is a varied position where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to support legal operations while working across multiple teams and projects.

You will:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Legal and Governance team, including diary management and team administration.
- Maintain legal records, registers, document management systems and website content with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Support procurement, invoice processing, reporting and other operational activities that keep the team running efficiently.
- Work closely with legal, policy and corporate teams to coordinate priorities, improve processes and provide high-quality support across the organisation.
You are an organised and proactive individual who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping people, information and processes on track.
You will bring:
- Experience providing coordination support in a complex, fast paced environment. Your experience may have been gained in the legal, professional services, insurance or similar regulated sectors.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Confidence using programs including Microsoft Office and NetSuite.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to take ownership.
