About the Opportunity
Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a Senior Researcher/Head of Research! In this position, you will play a key role within a high-performing executive search function, partnering closely with Partners to deliver on complex and strategic mandates.
In addition to leading end-to-end research activity, you will lead and mentor a small team, with clear progression to Head of Research, contributing to capability uplift and team performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading research strategy and execution across executive search engagements
- Collaborating closely with Partners to shape search approaches and client value propositions
- Sourcing, engaging and managing senior executive candidates through end-to-end processes
- Proactively building and maintaining networks of executive leaders across our core sectors
- Leading the development of client and candidate reports, including market insights and talent mapping
- Mentoring and supporting junior Researchers, providing guidance, coaching and quality oversight
This is an opportunity for an experienced researcher or recruitment professional, with a passion for executive search, who is looking to step into a leadership role. You will:

We are looking for a Senior Researcher who brings depth of experience within executive search or recruitment and is motivated to take the next step into a leadership position.
Key capabilities include:
- Demonstrated experience within executive search or recruitment, ideally at a senior researcher level
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise at executive level
- Experience leading or mentoring others, with a genuine interest in developing team capability
- Highly developed research, sourcing and market mapping capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- A proactive, strategic and solutions-focused mindset
- A tertiary qualification will be highly regarded
